This one's long overdue. I'm not in the mood to write but I just want to publish this, haha!:) So we left the school at around 5:40 am maybe. There was heavy traffic in the Southern Luzon Expressway (wan't too express at that:). A 3-yr old child died, car accident. So we were basically late for our tour in the Coast Guard yada. I forgot the name of the ship and the names of the officers on board. There were Koreans on board, too. There was a chopper on the ship with a scary dead-looking Re-Susie Ann and a cute pilot. Thank God we have caregiver program here. I didn't scare myself to a dummy as I step in the chopper.
Ok. MRT trip. Taft Avenue! Our objective is to take the MRT from Taft Ave. to North Ave. Then the bus will meet us there. Theoretically, it should take the bus longer because of the traffic so we'll have to wait. So together with our facilitators and TL Oca, we boarded the train. We had a whole train for ourselves. There was plenty of room for everyone. Everyone gets to sit.:) Somewhere before the Shaw Blvd. station, the electricity started to fluctuate. The train stopped even before we reach the next station (which is the Shaw Blvd. station). Then it started raining... HARD! Dubidoo, we were getting bored. The children tried to entertain themselves. They had song and dance numbers. One tried to do pull ups but he/ she wasn't successful. Well, the teacher that I am showed them how to do pull ups.:) Ok, it was not very teacher-ly but I am that. I missed doing pull ups. Going back to what sets you apart from your circle of friends... hmm... the people I know have not tried staying in an MRT train for 2 hours straight. Hahaha!:) And they haven't tried doing pull ups/ chin ups in an MRT train. Hah, that truly is an unforgettable MRT experience for me and my children. It's funny that I call them children when almost all of them are taller than me. Well, for one, I'm not tall. Hahaha!:)
Ok. Montalban area. That was my first time in Montalban. That was my first time to see Payatas, too. We went to the Wawa Dam. We saw Bernardo Carpio's gigantic hand print on a boulder. Take note, Bernardo Carpio and not Bernardo Bernardo. We walked some more, crossed some not so sturdy make-do bridge until we got to a river. The water was cold. Still, we waded and allowed ourselves to go with the current. After that, we went rappeling (Yes, again!). I was the first one to go down as I was volunteered by Oca. hehe!:)
Ok, so that's one more long story for all of you.:)
