Biak-na-bato

Last Monday, we went spelunking. We visited the real Biak-na-bato (Tanggapan, Tambangan, Pagamutan, and Imbakan) and the national park there. We went there with Kuya Dan and Ate Jhee as our facilitators and Clint as our team leader. Hah, I have to watch Vietnam Rose. Hahaha!:) Kuya Dan gave a good thorough lecture on how stalactites, stalagmites and columns are formed. I was enlightened, hahaha!:) So carbon dioxide and water combines to form carbonic acid. Carbonic acid in turns dissolves the minerals... What else did we do there? We waded in the chilly, cold waters of the river. And we rappelled from a hanging bridge!:) I went home happy, not so tired and contented with the day's outbound education. My best trip with Lakbay Kalikasan so far.:)
