Healthy living doesn't end with eating good food and daily exercise. It is a way of life. It entails conscious effort to be healthy in every sense of the word.
In line with this, I'd like to have my HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAM. Below is a list of the things that I wish to do.:)
1. exercise
- jog 3x a week
- buy mat for abs exercise
2. take vitamin supplements
- I'm taking vitamin E. Thank God they're like jellies... still can't take tablets
3. drink milk
- I do whenever I'm able to buy some.
4. eat oatmeal every morning
- I don't get to eat oatmeal lately. I often miss breakfast. I just eat during recess time.
5. drink tea
- Again, I don't find time to prepare tea. I have an assortment of mint teas, courtesy of my sis.:) I don't have honey though.
6. drink water instead of juice
- I still have to work on this one. I often forget to choose water instead of juice.
7. refrain from drinking carbonated beverages
- I only drink carbonated beverages when I'm out and there's nothing else to drink.
8. no salty food/ chips and other junks
-I generally don't eat those, just candies and chips once or twice a month.
9. limit eating chocolates to once a week
- This is hard to observe if you have chocolates.
10. eat fruits regularly
- I eat apples and/or oranges every day.
11. get 8 hours of sleep
- this is doable but doesn't go well with my work habits
12. not get mad/ raise my voice (once a week max?:)
- hah! I should be more proactive.
13. find time to draw/ doodle/ paint and read
- This goes with drinking tea, part of my "zen program." This is for soothing the senses.
14. hear mass everyday
- This is good for the soul. I have to push myself to take afternoon walks and go to church everyday.
15. fix my work schedule and be more productive
- haha!:) everything boils down to this. time management, dude!
