The Best Concert Ever

Ever. Whenever I use the word ever, I distinctly remember myself telling some person from the City Hall, " Hindi pa'ko nagkakasedula ever!" It never fails to make me smile.:)

Anyway, we went to LB yesterday with the intent of watching the concert. There was just too many people there. The place was so crowded. The venue, I think, was not big enough to accommodate the crowd. We had extra tickets. We sold them in a jiffy. And because there was just too many people trying to find their way to the gate/door, we found ourselves selling our own tickets. Yes, we ended up not watching the concert.:)

We had fun though.:) My sister went to the backstage so she can watch Bridge and make sure that they get paid while the rest of us went to... drum roll, please...KFC! hahaha!:) I ordered crispy strips, large crispy fries, mountain dew, and Selecta's cookies 'n cream. They didn't have crispy strips, buhu! Thus, I had to settle for OR1 and exert more effort consuming the chicken. I sometimes find eating tiring. It kinda drains my energy that I don't get to enjoy my meal, no matter how palatable the food is. So I grew tired eating, making the process more of a responsibility/ burden. I was forcing myself to finish my food and when I'm finally done, I reached for my ice cream on stick and there it was, melted. So it was bye, cookies 'n cream. Where's the fun part to that? Just wait. Patience is a virtue, hahaha!:)

After eating, we headed back to the venue of the concert to pick my sister up. My sister was with Bridge (It's a band). You guys familiar with Bridge? Anyway, they were all hungry, hungry as a T-rex. We went to Chowking with them. They had their meal. The service wasn't that good but it was generally ok. We were all sober and hyperactive. We laughed until our tonsils hurt (my voice becomes extra husky). We had fun and we were alcohol-free.:)

Why the title best concert ever? I didn't get to watch it but who cares? I have zero musical intelligence. And I can always watch bridge. Well, it looks like those who were able to watch had tons of fun, too. Good for them and good for me. I don't like the smell of sweat and yes, feeling the moisture from the person beside you. Having to stand beside sweaty, eeky people might make me snap and bring the bitchy side of me. So I'd say, it was good that I wasn't able to get in/ get squeashed.:) Hahaha!:) I'm not crazy for HALE or MYMP. C=

I like Bridge! I think they're a good band. I have a little over zero musical intelligence but every person that introduces me to a good band adds one more drop to my musical intelligence bucket.

Too bad KFC didn't have the crispy strips then. Well, maybe next concert that you get to eat at KFC they'll have the strips, the ice cream won't melt, you'll join your sister backstage where the people watching the concert with you won't be that sweaty or eeky and you'll get the best of both worlds :)

hey, johnnydu.:) I get to watch bridge every now and then that's why I didn't really feel bad about not getting to see them on stage.:) and yah, I like their music, too. My nearly zero musical intelligence still permits me to assess whether what I'm hearing is pleasing to the ears or not. And I'd say their good.:)
