OLD. I am old.
I'm 23 and I feel really old. I'd like to think that I'm still young because I do look young, I think. I prefer to be called Teacher Nica as I don't want to be addressed as Ma'am. Ma'am sounds old. I don't think the term Ma'am fits me well. I don't like it when my co-workers call me Ma'am either. That makes me feel way old. I don't like it when they use po. I'm like, "oh no! am i that old that you have to use po and opo?" Hah! I still want to think that I'm young. Anyway, yesterday, I browsed my sister's files. I got to get a good look of the birthdates of people (employees and student assistants) and I felt really old. Well, disregard the first page. They've been around here even before I went to high school. If you look at the second and third page of the document, you'll see 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989... ugh! 1989!? I was already in kindergarten then. I don't know if I just look young or some people just look old for their age. Dubidoo...

blog hop :)
that's okay. many of the people in my workplace call me "sir" even though i'm way younger than them and they're more experienced than me (naks, the perks of being in the IT department).
But I still don't like it when people address me as ma'am.:) Like what I said earlier, I feel old when they call me that (especially when those who refer to me as ma'am are actually younger than me).
